tastelife for Schools

Welcome to tastelife for Schools! tastelife offers different resources for schools for you to choose from. Youth Track is perfect for educating young people about eating disorders in any school context; whereas Food, Feelings and Faith is suited to Christian schools and other Christian contexts.

Youth Track:

  • equips young people with a healthy knowledge around what eating disorders are
  • is a preventative resource that has been designed to work in any secondary school context with young people between the ages of 11-18.
  • teaches young people how to avoid getting an eating disorder and how to help those who are struggling
  • allows young people to explore their feelings and relationship with food in a healthy and safe way
  • enables teachers to begin breaking down the stigma surrounding eating disorders and dispelling the myths believed by many
Packed with activities, video content, group discussions and individual reflections, it is highly interactive and thought-provoking whilst remaining sensitive to the subject matter.
The three highly interactive and thought-provoking sessions work well as a part of the PSHE curriculum, as a 1-1 intervention and as an extra-curricular group.

Food, Feelings and Faith:

  • is a preventative resource that has been designed to work in any Christian context, such as Christian schools, with young people between the ages of 11-18.
  • teaches young people how to avoid getting an eating disorder and how to help those who are struggling
  • allows young people to explore their feelings and relationship with food in a healthy and safe way
  • enables teachers to begin breaking down the stigma surrounding eating disorders and dispelling the myths believed by many
All sessions have reflections and time for prayer built in, meaning that all content is delivered through the lens of the Christian faith, whilst remaining sensitive to the subject matter.
