tastelife Youth Track about to launch!

And just like that, we’re in May! The past months have seen the Youth Track progress in leaps and bounds; a real-life resource now exists, with an initial pilot in five different schools across the country. It’s amazing to see that what once existed as simply a ‘good idea’ has grown into a tangible three-session module that will impact many.

Since September, we have rallied together to finish the resource, filming, designing, as well as working to get the word out and find schools to try out the sessions for us. We’re coming to the end of the pilot now, and will be making our final changes over the summer, ready for general release via the tastelife website in September 2019.

In conversations with teachers, parents and youth leaders it’s clearer than ever that to reach young people with high quality, well-informed and relevant information about eating disorders is invaluable. Invaluable not only to give them a good understanding for themselves and their peers, but also in supporting and equipping those who work with them.

Thanks to all who have expressed interest in the Youth Track; please stay tuned for more information to go live from the website in the near future, with options to pre-order your own copy.

For now, please take a look at our leaflet: (if you would like hard copies to distribute to local contacts, please get in touch; we’d love to spread the word!) Any questions or queries? Get in touch with Mary, our Youth Track Coordinator at youth@tastelifeuk.org
